Beginner typists have a good foundation, they know how to touch type using most of their fingers without looking at the keyboard, however, the typing speed would be slow. At this level, typists should get faster and more comfortable with a wider variety of words which makes it harder to stumble upon words that aren’t familiar. Beginner typists should also start practicing other keys on the keyboard like number and punctuation keys in order to get ready for typing texts.
